BOLT, India's largest Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network announced that it is all set to install 1 lakh charging stations all over India as demands from non-metro cities such as Jaipur, Nagpur, Nashik, Chandigarh, Surat, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada are surging.
In an attempt to promote solar energy in the city, the Alexandrian government renewed its program ‘Solarize Alexandria’. The program is aimed to make a smooth shift by making it much more affordable for residents and businesses to install solar power systems on their properties. The campaign was launched back in 2014 and is ready to be rolled out from April 1 to June 30 for its eighth season this year.

India surprised everyone at the COP26 by putting a date on the carbon neutrality goal, although it is 20 years later than what the developed countries have set and 10 years more than China. It is justified, because during the last decade when the climate change initiatives started to gather momentum around the world, India was just making it into the list of large carbon emitters. American and European nations have had enough time to pump the atmosphere with greenhouse gases, establish cities with good infrastructure and pull their people out of poverty before starting out on this ambitious journey of cutting carbon.
