The state has gained input from officials, researchers, and specialized organizations to form a detailed roadmap that outlines six domains. These include housing investments, electrifying public transport, solar investments, improving clean water & sanitation facilities, fixing drainage systems. Aaditya Thackeray has announced an annual investment of $6 billion to implement these planned targets.

According to the plan the biggest investment is focused on the energy targets which comprises about 72% of the total budget and the rest is planned to tackle vehicle emissions and waste.
