Hyderabad based organization Greenko Group has started the construction of the world’s largest integrated renewable energy storage project (IRESP). The project is being established with a budget of $3 billion in the Kurnool district and is expected to complete by 2023.
The power minister of Goa Sudin Dhavalikar announced that all the 76 government buildings in Panaji will be installed with solar panels to meet their energy demands. The minister also highlighted that the State’s Assembly complex will also get a solar panel after the confirmation from the Assembly speaker.
The United Kingdom is planning to install a beaming solar power station in space and aspires to establish a demonstrator in orbit by 2035. According to the International agency’s new report, the world is set to achieve new records in renewable energy capacity by 2023. The solar energy capacity will touch its highest mark led by China and Europe, the report highlighted.
Bengaluru based startup Bellatrix aerospace has successfully tested an eco-friendly propulsion system to launch the rockets and satellites into space. The new system has the ability to cut emissions of harmful compounds while the launching process and can also increase fuel efficiency, the ET report said.

The company is currently recycling 10 tonnes of plastic daily including plastic bottles, wrappers and other plastic waste and converting them into the fabric. The manufactured fibre from this process is reported to be stronger than the traditional fibre.

As new renewable power generation systems are built, it is also important to integrate them into the grid so the green energy can be supplied efficiently and seamlessly to industry and consumers.
