IIM Kozhikode introduces the Centre for Climate Studies to focus on climate action strategies

To promote Climate action in the education field Indian Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has introduced a ‘Centre for Climate Studies’. The officials reported that the new centre will be a Centre of Excellence at IIMK. The main focus of the courses under the Centre will be on CLIMATE which represents Climate Leadership, Internationalization and Management for policy Advancement, Technology and Enterprise.

Urgent need to meet financial pledges to help developing countries build resilience to climate change

Climate researchers and scientists worldwide have warned that the ongoing human-induced activities worsening climate change are pushing the entire planet toward doomsday. The consequences that the planet is witnessing in the form of climate disasters such as floods, tsunamis, wildfires, avalanches, and landslides are just the beginning. Ahmedabad becomes a C40 member to escalate urban climate action goals

Ahmedabad has taken one more step toward achieving sustainable development in the urban areas as the city has joined the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.
