There will be a three day Wind Energy trade fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi called Windergy. The aim of the fair is to catalyze investments upto 15,000 crores into the wind energy sector in the country. The event is being organized by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and PDA Trade fairs Pvt Ltd.
It’ll give the domestic manufacturing companies, startups and MSMEs an opportunity to interact with Original Equipment Manufacturers. And the OEM manufacturers will be able to interact with domestic investors. This will also help garner foreign investments for the development of the wind energy sector which has 15 GW per annum capacity in India.
This will help to facilitate investment flow of Rs 10,000 crore to Rs 15,000 crore into wind energy component manufacturing in the country," Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association Chairman Tulsi Tanti said.
