High-profile builders, developers, and tech parks are now at the target of the anti-encroachment drive in Bengaluru. These encroachments were believed to be the reason for the recent floods in the city. The Bengaluru administration has already demolished buildings in many places.
The Bengaluru Municipal Corporation has identified 700 such encroachments, which have been attributed to floods. These include Wipro, Prestige, Eco Space, Bagmane Tech Park, Columbia Asia Hospital, and Divyashree Villa.
According to the released list by the BBMP, the documents related to the campaign have come out with shocking facts. The anti-encroachment drive is going on in full swing in the city for the common man, but now action against the big companies is also on the table.
The engineers of the administration reported that even big companies would not be spared from this anti-encroachment drive, but the action is yet to start and we are taking the necessary steps to accomplish the same.
