The carbon market is a platform where carbon credits are traded which allows an organization or an entity to emit a specific amount of carbon emissions directly related to the available carbon credits. This system provides economic benefits to nations and organizations by minimising their carbon footprint.

A recent report by Intellecap highlighted that the carbon market will help in motivating the efforts of organizations to lower the carbon emissions under their permissible limit and incentivise it in the form of carbon credits.
