Hurricane Ian also remains at risk for parts of eastern North Carolina and southeast Virginia. People's homes have been completely destroyed due to the huge devastation caused by Hurricane Ian. On Pine Island, the largest barrier island on Florida's Gulf Coast, houses have all been torn apart and boats are seen on the streets.
Along with Florida, South Carolina also saw a severe form of Hurricane Ian. The streets are flooded with the arrival of the storm Ian. Thousands of people have been forced to be imprisoned in their homes. Earlier, Hurricane Ian had killed three people in Cuba. With the efforts of rescue and supply teams, many people trapped in Hurricane Ian are being evacuated. The highways came to a complete standstill due to the rising water level on the roads. National Weather Service meteorologist Tyler Fleming in Tampa said the waters in Florida's southwest rivers are rising and there is no expected drop in water levels for several days.
