The minister said that while India has made significant progress in the deployment of renewable energy, there is still a need to address the issue of intermittency. He said that India is working on a number of solutions to address this issue, including the development of large-scale battery storage systems and the integration of renewable energy with other sources of energy, such as nuclear power.

The minister also said India is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2070. He said that this will require a significant increase in the deployment of renewable energy and other measures, such as energy efficiency and demand-side management.

The challenges and opportunities associated with achieving net zero carbon emissions in India are pretty prevalent. It is important to note that the minister's comments and the actual policies and measures that are being implemented to achieve net zero carbon emissions are going to take some time to establish fully on the ground. The Union Minister also highlighted the need for urgent action to address climate change in India.
