The other middle eastern countries like Iraq and Kuwait also recorded sizzling temperatures above 50 C over the weekend. Abadan in Iran registered 52.2 degrees celsius which is one of the highest temperatures ever recorded on earth.

As per the weather reports, even the coolest region in Kuwait reported scorching temperatures. The AccuWeather Meteorologist Alyssa Smithmyer highlighted that the brutal weather across the middle eastern countries is the result of high-pressure overtaking the region. The high pressure in the area caused the flow of unseasonably warm blazing air. This when combined with sunshine and dry earth caused this unusual weather condition.
