Children from Little Flower School, Kerala Samajan Model School, and ADL Sunshine School in Jamshedpur received a one-of-a-kind E-waste Coloring Book from Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, Eastern India's fastest-growing e-waste management company.
Hulladek Recycling took this action to educate children about e-waste and raise awareness about it. This campaign aims to use a fun activity to teach kids about E-waste. The objective was to organize a significant e-waste collection effort and educate the public about the value of a cleaner, greener environment.
Start From An Early Age
Recycling is a behaviour that needs to be ingrained in children from an early age. According to Nandan Mall, Chairman & Managing Director of Hulladek Recycling Pvt. Ltd., "We need to make sure that the youth today become responsible and conscious customers as our future generations will face the brunt of climate change.”
The school which took part in the initiative expressed their great pleasure in working with Hulladek Recycling. Sister Hilda D'Souza, principal of Little Flower School, stated, "We appreciate your initiative in raising awareness about e-waste among our pupils at a very young age and encouraging them to cooperate with you in properly disposing of e-waste, which is the need of the hour.” The program was attended by more than 300 students, making them aware of e-waste and its harmful effects.
