Transition to a Cleaner Energy In Progress
The event will feature more than 150 participants, including the G20 and nine specially invited guest countries, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and numerous other international organizations.
The technical sessions on "Energy Transition through Addressing Technology Gaps, Low-Cost Financing for Energy Transition, Energy Security and Diversified Supply Chains, Energy Efficiency, Industrial Low Carbon Transitions, Responsible Consumption, and Fuels for the Future (3F) evoked very good responses from all the member countries," Ministry of Power Secretary Alok Kumar told the reporters here.
He added that the ideas and suggestions shared during the sessions would serve as the starting point for the upcoming working group meetings. The ministry added that discussions will pick up again the following day on important issues like equitable access to clean energy and inclusive and just energy transition pathways.
