TerraCycle Regulated Waste (TCRW) has launched a series of products and services designed to practice eco-friendly disposal of discarded electronics. Along with that, they are also bringing forward the concept of 'data sanitization'. Effective data destruction is a crucial measure to be taken by E-waste recyclers. TerraCycle aims at proper data destruction and providing commercial recycling solutions.
The onset of the pandemic brought the dependency on gadgets and digital technology for work, education and other things. Kevin Flynn, Vice President of TerraCycle Operations, talking about the initiative, said that IT departments, regardless of the size or the type of industry, require some form of stable data disposal. There is an ever growing need to enable workers with the latest remote-ready technology while managing data on discarded devices and recycling.
Their services include, E-waste mail back recycling. The EasyPak Electronics Recycling Container, was designed to recycle any e-waste that can be powered-on or has chips or board parts. This includes LEDS, monitors, computers, fax machines, telecom gear, and televisions. Another feature is Bulk E-Waste Freight Recycling. The BulkPak E-waste Serialized Recycling Kit gives IT managers an effective recycling of bulk quantities of e-waste that can be powered-on or has chip or board parts. To step ahead in the security standard, TerraCycle Regulated Waste provides users with a Certificate of Destruction to verify the waste disposal and safe data destruction has been carried out.
