Delhi-based 21-year-old environmentalist inspiring youth for climate action

Abhiir Bhalla, a 21-year-old environmentalist from Delhi, is advocating for the role of youth in climate action. Bhalla started his environmental journey at the age of 13, when he founded a youth organization called Green Circle. The organization works to raise awareness about environmental issues and to promote sustainable practices. Bhalla has also worked with the United Nations Environment Programme and the Children's Health Environmental Coalition.

In 2022, Bhalla was selected as one of the 100 Global Changemakers by the World Economic Forum. He is also a recipient of the Earth Day Network's International Youth Ambassador Award.
