After two days of relief, pollution has started increasing again in Delhi and its surrounding areas. On November 11, the average air quality index in the country's capital Delhi was once again recorded in the very poor category. According to SAFAR, the average AQI of Delhi was recorded at 303 at 7 am on Friday. At the same time, the condition of the air in NCR also appeared to be deteriorating.
Actually, there has been a change in the direction of the wind since Thursday, after which the pollution level seems to be increasing once again after two days of relief. On Thursday, the air quality of Delhi was recorded in the 'poor' category for the second consecutive day. Talking about the fresh air quality index, the air quality index in Alipore, Delhi, was recorded at 364 at 7 am. It was 344 in Anand Vihar. In Jahangirpuri, Vivek Vihar and Sonia Vihar also the AQI was recorded above 300. The air quality index in Noida was recorded at 329. Whereas in Gurugram, a slightly better AQI was measured at 239. Meanwhile, the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) on Thursday said it will review the situation on November 11. The decision to continue the ban on the movement of BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel vehicles in Delhi until November 13 was taken in the review meeting of the Transport Department.
