The project is expected to be completed in three years, with the first-year target being one lakh street lights with an investment of ₹300cr. With the completion of this project, Bihar will become the world’s largest state to implement a solar street light system based on Lord’s Mark’s in-house developed RMS (Remote Monitoring System) powered by AI for transmitting data through SIM cards.

"We are certain that this master project will be the harbinger of solar electrification in all parts of the country,” said Sachidanand Upadhyay, founder of Lord's Mark.

Many states have renewable energy agencies and this project is being seen as a game changer for other Indian states.
