On February 8 and 9, the Institution of Engineers (India), Tiruchi local center, in association with the Electrical Engineering department at Anna University's BIT campus, will host a national workshop on "Renewable energy integration with energy storage systems."
The participants will receive technical know-how on efficient ways to combine renewable energy systems with energy storage technology.

In a press release, NIT listed the suggested topics as "grid stability," "energy storage technologies," "overview of power generation from renewables," "growth of the renewable energy sector in India," and "challenges of integrating variable renewable energy sources with the power grid."
