While addressing the UNGA’s General Debate of the Second Committee on ‘Crisis, Resilience and Recovery — Accelerating Progress towards the 2030 Agenda’, India highlighted that to achieve the target of Net-Zero emissions by 2050 the developed countries must do a ‘Net-Minus’.

Due to climate change, the ice of glaciers is continuously decreasing, due to which viruses and bacteria can be exposed to it. There may be a 'viral spillover' in the world, the study adds.
