World Sustainable Development Summit to take place in New Delhi

The 23rd World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) is approaching, and leaders, politicians, and experts from around the world will convene to debate how visionary leadership can steer our planet toward a more sustainable future. The meeting, coordinated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), will take place from February 7 to 9.

During the independent worldwide conference, participants will discuss critical global issues such as conflicts, environmental disasters, and obstacles to the Sustainable Development Goals. According to TERI, the summit will be inaugurated by the Vice President of India and will feature notable speakers such as ministers from Fiji, Kiribati, and Spain, as well as members from the World Bank and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.


The summit's theme, 'Leadership for Sustainable Development and Climate Justice,' highlights the significance of visionary leadership in steering the globe toward sustainability. In addition to the inaugural and valedictory events, the summit will feature 11 plenary sessions and high-level talks about women's leadership, business, and youth.
