This ambitious 508-kilometer train project spanning Maharashtra, Gujarat, and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Union Territory is estimated to cost Rs 2 lakh crore and is scheduled to be completed in August 2026. The bullet train will cut travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad from five hours to an amazing two hours and seven minutes, stopping at crucial stations such as Thane and Surat.

State authorities proudly promote this as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project, which will connect India with countries with advanced rail networks. The high-speed train is expected to travel at 320 km/hr and carry 17,900 people daily in each direction in three classes: standard, business, and grand.

The Dholera Solar Park, located 80 kilometers from Ahmedabad, is another bright example of growth. With a capacity of 5,000 megawatts, it is India's largest solar installation. The park, located in the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), covers 11,000 hectares and uses cutting-edge solar photovoltaic module technology across 11 strategically split blocks.

Gujarat's commitment to green and smart infrastructure includes transforming the Sabarmati high-speed rail station into a multimodal transport hub that strategically connects high-speed rail with Indian Railways. The Sabarmati hub's unique twin construction reflects the state's commitment to contemporary, sustainable infrastructure and efficient connectivity.

The Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, at Rs 1.5 lakh crore, is expected to change India's energy landscape. This project, which spans from Khavda to Vighakot villages in Kutch district, uses solar panels and wind turbines to generate an amazing 30 Gigawatts of sustainable power, helping to create a greener and more sustainable future.

As Gujarat prepares to host the 10th Gujarat Vibrant Global Summit, these megaprojects demonstrate the state's commitment to attracting development projects and investments, establishing it as a leader in progressive and sustainable infrastructure.
