A two-day ‘Environmental & Sustainability Summit’ was recently organized on the 28th and 29th of September 2022 by the Business Review Magazine at The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection, Bucharest.
The summit focused on sustainable food and water consumption, eco-communities, renewable energy sources, and circular economy, with each having its very own panel.
The summit had the following panels:
Day 1
• Opening Panel: Environmental & Sustainability Policies and Projects. Protecting our planet and combating climate change
• Panel 1: Food & Water. Water, sustainable agriculture, eco food, nature-based solution, circular bioeconomy
• Panel 2: Sustainable urban developments and smart communities, transportation, automotive, eco-friendly urban life, waste management
Day 2
• Panel 1: Power. CO2 emission targets. Renewable energy sources. The future grid. Digital transformation. Consumers & Prosumers
• Panel 2: Sustainable business. Investments, circular business models, corporate activism, nature-based solutions, inclusion
The speakers included H.E. Mrs. Therese Hydén, Ambassador Of Sweden in Bucharest; Florin Marian Spataru, Minister of Economy, Romania; Mihai Precup, State Secretary at the Ministry Of Finance; Bogdan Balanișcu, State Secretary at The Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests; Mihaela Niță, Public Affairs Manager at Coca-Cola România; and Ștefan Manole, CEO at Procredit Bank among others.
