The NIBM Rd Residents Forum organized the initiative, and the information was shared with Pune Pulse by Adv. Sushama Joshi, the NRRF's Chairperson.

Tarang Joshi, an engineer and Bramha Majestic resident was instrumental in planning and supervising the E-waste collection effort at the society's clubhouse on December 24, 2023. Tarang Joshi's contributions were critical to the drive's success.

During the event, a significant amount of E-waste (over 100 kilograms) and plastic waste (two kilograms) were gathered. This demonstrates the residents' dedication to environmentally responsible actions.

The NRRF intends to expand such E-waste collection camps to other Cooperative Housing Societies (CHS) in the area, with the goal of raising awareness and encouraging appropriate electronic and plastic waste disposal.
