A new collaborative effort between India and France is set to bolster innovation in the Indo-Pacific region.
The two countries have agreed to establish a joint fund that will provide financial support to startups and climate-focused initiatives. This agreement comes on the heels of Prime Minister Modi's visit to France in July 2023.
The fund's focus lies in financing projects located in the Western Indian Ocean and throughout the broader Indo-Pacific area. This collaboration marks another step in India's ongoing commitment to fostering international partnerships in the region. India has already established similar programs with other nations such as Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
