After China and the US, with 3.2 million tons of e-waste generated a year India stands at the third place in the global E-waste contributor, says the UN report. According to a 2020 report by the Central Pollution Control Board, India generated 1,014,961 tons of e-waste in FY 2019-2020 – up 32% from FY 2018-2019.
