This concerning report highlights the significant gaps in policy, ambition, and action across various crucial areas. From ensuring clean water and sanitation to combating climate change and reducing poverty, progress remains disappointingly slow. The overall scenario points to studies suggesting that closing these gaps could bring substantial economic benefits – a potential 7% boost to global GDP by 2030! This revelation reframes the SDGs, painting them not just as a moral imperative but also as a smart economic investment.
