Over 28,000 registrations for solar rooftop grid systems were completed under the 'Har Ghar Solar Yojana' in just 2.5 months, exceeding the 25,000-connection objective. The 'PM Surya Ghar Yojana' has resulted in over 72,000 new connections. Around 1,045 homes have already begun to profit from solar energy, saving over 4,702,500 units of power, equivalent to Rs 31.35 lakh so far.

The UP government provides subsidies for solar panel installations ranging from 1 KW to 10 KW. Efforts are underway to meet the next target within three to four months, ensuring more access to solar energy and encouraging sustainable development throughout UP.
