The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is expected to make substantial achievements at the World Sustainable Development Summit, which will take place in New Delhi from February 7th to 9th. In addition, TERI will issue policy briefs on sustainable development goals (SDGs), with a focus on sustainable agriculture, water-use efficiency, and how they interact with other goals. The goal of these briefs is to help stakeholders make informed decisions about sustainable practices.
Furthermore, TERI's collaboration with Cenergist demonstrates its dedication to researching novel solar technologies around the world, which aligns with the goals of the International Solar Alliance, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
TERI's director-general, Vibha Dhawan, highlighted the need to share sustainable practices through publications such as "Solutions for Sustainable Development." These publications seek to spread sustainable knowledge for greater societal benefit.
The unveiling of the green shipping portal during the summit reinforces TERI's Green Shipping program, which will benefit the National Centre of Excellence in Green Ports and Shipping. This program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, focuses on cutting-edge research in sustainable fuel technology and circular economy practices across important industries.
