The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and PTC India Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Research and Development in the Energy Domain, with an emphasis on promoting sustainable development objectives.
The CoE's research and development results will be conveyed to the power sector via training and capacity building. According to the MoU, NPTI and PTC India will work together on research, development, and knowledge transfer through the CoE. Dr. Tripta Thakur, NPTI Director General, and PTC India Ltd. Senior Vice President, Koel Singhal, on behalf of CMD Dr. Rajib K Mishra, signed the MoU on March 28, 2024, at the Ministry of Power's New Delhi headquarters.
