Jammu Sanskriti School Hosts Inaugural Global Sustainability Fest

Jammu Sanskriti School in Jammu hosted a pioneering Global Sustainability Fest to encourage action towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event, which was attended by kids, educators, community leaders, and sustainability specialists, promoted debate and collaboration on global issues.

Principal Rohini Aima expressed enthusiasm, noting the school's commitment to developing responsible global citizens. Rohini Aima conceptualized the effort, which aimed to create awareness about the role of the young in sustainability.

The Fest provided an opportunity to explore the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which address environmental, social, and economic challenges. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and included cultural activities and panel discussions.

The event, which began with guests watering 17 potted plants representing the SDGs, highlighted efforts by Jammu Sanskriti School and other CBSE schools to achieve sustainability.
