Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have planned an eco-friendly wedding in Goa. To reduce environmental effect, they chose e-invites and banned fireworks. The three-day event kicks off on February 19 at the ITC Grand in South Goa, with only close friends and family present.
To further reduce their carbon footprint, the couple recruited specialists to quantify it and calculate the number of trees required for offset. Rakul and Jackky will personally plant the trees following the wedding ceremony.
Their decision to go eco-friendly provides a unique example by emphasizing sustainability and environmental awareness in their celebrations. They hope to promote a more environmentally conscious approach to weddings by eliminating typical features like physical invitations and fireworks. This action demonstrates their dedication to environmental care and sets a good example for future events.
