Mumbai-based Resort Hotel is set on an E-waste drive as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. The initiative will include interactive sessions and awareness campaigns for the guests and customers within the hotel premises. They will be setting up e-waste boxes in the hotel's lobby and office with a goal to safely collect and discard the e-waste. The guests and hotel staff will dispose of electronic waste items such as old gadgets, dead batteries, e-toys, old remote controls, chargers, phones, or any non-functional electronic gadget. GM of The Resort, Satyajit Kotwal made a statement in which he stressed on the importance of generating awareness as corporate. The week-long program will encourage people to address the need for responsible e-waste recycling. Being part of the society, this is their contribution for a cleaner and healthier environment. It is essential for institutions in every industry at every level to do their bit in spreading awareness. The electronic waste collected through the week was given to a certified panel aggregator, to recycle and dispose of it in the right way.
