Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has taken a leap forward in green initiatives with the launch of India's first mobile AdBlue dispenser in Kolkata. This innovative solution addresses the accessibility of MAK AdBlue, a crucial diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) that reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from BSVI diesel vehicles.
Traditionally, AdBlue has only been available at fuel stations, posing logistical challenges for users. BPCL's mobile dispenser eliminates this hurdle by bringing the product directly to customers. This truck-mounted unit boasts a certified metering system and provides printed bills and SMS notifications for added convenience.
The mobile dispenser eliminates the need for complex infrastructure modifications at fuel stations, significantly reducing installation costs and simplifying the AdBlue dispensing process. This makes the solution particularly well-suited for fleet operators, construction sites, and remote locations with limited access to fixed dispensers.
By promoting the use of AdBlue, BPCL contributes to cleaner air and reduced environmental impact. Additionally, the mobile dispenser's flexibility and cost-effectiveness are expected to enhance the adoption of BSVI vehicles, aligning with India's commitment to cleaner transportation.
